Was it easy to learn how to program?
I am frequently asked if programming is really hard to do. If it really takes an ardous effort to learn and master it. So I contemplate a lot what the correct answers would be.
Programing is quite a complex skill requiring great attention and care. You can not master it one day to the next but it is also not impossible to learn! You do not need to have special talents for it.
That something is hard or easy to learn does not exist anyways. When I encounter this rationale I am always reminded of my classmates at primary school who were constantly struggling and would always discuss during break times how hard it was to study and how impossible it was to do the chemistry assigmment, not to mention maths that were completely above them.
I never understood what they were talking about since everything was always so simple and easy to me.
Up until the day I forgot to prepare myself for a test in physics. This unexpected cognition lead me to a point where I started viewing assigments as something terrible to fulfill and I started having a hard time solving every single of them from that point on.
Let me put it this way, this was not the most glamorous period of my life as far as study results were concerned.

I am convinced that nothing is hard or easy to learn in life or at school. When someone talks about the toughness of some challenge then it indicates one thing: lack of knowledge.
That something is hard does not exist - only the lack of knowledge does!
Programming is neither easy or difficult. You either know how to program or you do not. I can testify that it is easy to solve my commissions and assigments effectively only with a background of diligent and tenuous study process and many years of experience.
